NADA SA Partners With Certopus

As of 4 days ago, NADA SA partnered with Certupus. Finally, we have a tamper proof, QR coded and verifiable practitioner certification system. As from the 20th of January 2023, all previously issued practitioner certificates will be revoked.
  1. Going forward, NADA SA will be using a new QR coded certificate tracking system which will validate current certificates by scanning the QR code on the certificate or by verifying the certificate number.
  2. New certificates will be issued to currently registered practitioners only. If you have not received your new certificate within the next week, please request a new certificate my emailing registration @ acudetox.org.za ALONG WITH YOUR PROOF OF PAYMENT that was previously made in 2022 and a new one will be issued. (Note : only if your registration is current).
  3. As from today, to register with NADA SA, you will need to go to acudetox.org.za , download an application form and ethics pledge, pay online with your debit/credit card, submit your application form and ethics pledge to registration @ acudetox.org.za
  4. As from today, we will no longer be issuing invoices. After registering with NADA SA online through acudetox.org.za, you will receive a reminder 30 days before your annual registration fee debit is due. You will need to check that you card details are correct before the annual registration fee is debited. If it fails, your certificate will be revoked and you will have to reapply and pay online through acudetox.org.za
  5. New practitioner certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of receiving payment for the annual registration fee.
NB**** We will no longer be receiving annual registration fees via eft. Only payments via the website will be accepted.*****NB – The Certopus certification sytem is built into our website and new certificates are ONLY issued once the order/ payment has been received through acudetox.org.za

The new system has been adopted for a few reasons

  • Practitioner certificates are now traceable and tamper resistent.
  • Certificates will now have a validity expiry date.
  • Admin is now reduced because the onus is on the practitioner to heed the automatic annual reminder, validate their card details and pay in order to receive their new valid certificates & invoices.
  • Sending invoices every month is no longer a manual admin task.
  • Practitioners whose annual registration fee lapsed through the new system will now need to reapply and pay online. The system as well as the certificate they have will reflect them as unregistered.
  • The previous manual system was inefficient and not working properly.
IMPORTANT NB*** – Please make sure to get your new certificate if you are currently registered with NADA SA. If your registration has lapsed, you must now reapply through acudetox.org.za keeping in mind the steps mentioned in this article.

Change is good. It’s not necessarily easy, but it brings growth. Change is inevitable, suffering is optional. This is one of the hardest lessons to learn and one that we all struggle with. We struggle because we resist instead of yielding to the flow and trusting that where it is taking us is better than where we are now.

Please also take note of the following:

Once you receive your login details to acudetox.org.za , please login immediately and do the following…
  1. Change your password under MY ACCOUNT
  2. Update your contact information and card billing details
  3. Check when your NADA registration fee is due and diarize it. If it lapses, remember your certificate will be invalidated and you will have ro reapply and register again.
